Based on our culture, we created our People Strategy #WECARE. It was created with the strong commitment to ensure that all BESIX employees around the world, no matter in what country they work, receive a caring approach and have access to safety, health and wellbeing at work. Our people are our priority, “People First”.  

This strategy is translated through different initiatives in the group: teleworking policy, flextime, childcare babysitting service for sick children, free medical exams for our employees, diversity & inclusion campaign, audit of accommodation for our workers in the Middle east, fitness room, sport events, confidence officer, fun activities ….

Our #WECARE strategy evolves to stay in tune with the present times, committed to meet employees' needs and expectations at every key moment of their life in a fast-changing world and putting a special emphasis on health and the new ways of working.

Social initiatives through our foundation

BESIX Foundation supports charitable projects in the fields of education, construction and environment. Its goal is to help communities in the countries where BESIX Group is active. BESIX Foundation has an array of volunteering projects in which the Group’s employees can participate through its activities.

Employee Listening Strategy

From the last engagement survey, it was clear that our employees were in need of more feedback and were asking for more possibilities to speak up; this is why we have reinforced our Employee Listening Strategy as  we care about our employees and about what they have to say and how they feel. 

From their onboarding until their offboarding our employees continuously get a chance to speak up and share their opinions and thoughts in all transparency as we strongly believe listening creates trust, engages teams and reinforces inclusion. #BetterTogether
