First water treated at the Bous Wastewater Treatment Plant (Luxembourg)

Since this week, the first basin of the wastewater treatment plant in Bous, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has been operational.

This milestone comes after incredible efforts from the teams of BESIX Environment and LUX TP, who started the works on the plant in 2017. The former is a department of BESIX Group specialised in the environmental field, in particular the water and energy sectors. The latter is a well-established Luxembourg subsidiary of the group, active in all kinds of building and infrastructure projects.

LUX TP’s vast knowledge of the local market, combined with BESIX Environment necessary know-how and references, laid the foundations for this first success. The first basin has been equipped by LUX TP’s electromechanical department.

The Bous plant is a perfect example of the One-Stop-Shop solutions that BESIX Groups offers its clients, i.e. the combination of various expertise available in-house to meet their needs.

The perfect, but not the sole example, as both partners have a considerable track record in joining forces in this field. BESIX Environment and Lux TP have been present on the Luxembourg wastewater treatment plant market since 2018. They have established themselves among the main players in the sector, with contracts of growing importance.

Today, they are carrying out electromechanical works in six wastewater treatment plants in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in Consdorf, Wiltz, Bous, Nachtsmandersheid, Putscheid-Weiler-Stolzenbourg and Mamer.
