Our employees have access to e-learning modules, blended learning opportunities and class-room training, allowing them to develop and progress in their own way.
We manage our own internal knowledge-sharing platform : BESIX eAcademy. This e-learning platform is available to all our colleagues around the world.
Our training catalogue offers more than 150 in-class training courses covering a large range of skills. With this wide list of topics to choose from, we aim at providing everyone with the opportunity to attend on average 5 days of training each year.
Besides our general training offer, we have developed an extensive training path specifically aimed at our engineers and technical function staff. This BESIX Development Academy, BDA in short, is split into 3 tracks to fit the career progression of our staff. Each track consists of about 20 different courses spread over training weeks. Participants attend full training weeks : a great occasion to broaden one’s knowledge, but also to get to know colleagues better from around the world.
Last but not least, our annual BESIX Potential Academy (BPA) focus on our young & mid-career internal talents.
Participants are selected throughout the Group by our top management, based on their performance and ambitions. They follow business courses tailored to the Group’s activity, during a residential seminar.
Within the BESIX Group you can determine your own career path. All our employees can transfer to our regional companies, and can apply to our open positions abroad or in their home country. In this way you can develop your own career path laterally and/or vertically. By transferring to a new position within the Group you learn to work with new colleagues and/or in different countries and you can discover new cultures.
